You promised something

Hi Daniel, Good to meet you at Legal Geek on Thursday. As promised, here’s the case study on AI intake for conveyancing: [link]. The part on turnaround times is probably the most relevant to what you described. Happy to talk it through if useful. [Your name]

You want a second conversation

Hi Priya, I enjoyed our chat after the panel on Thursday, especially your point about onboarding new associates. Would 20 minutes next week be useful? I’m free Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. [Your name]

You want an introduction

Hi Sofia, Thanks for your time at the conference. You mentioned your head of operations is looking at intake tools. Would you be open to introducing us? I can send a two-line summary you can forward. [Your name]

Nothing specific, but you liked them

Hi Kwame, Good to meet you on Thursday. I’ll be at the London meetup next month if you’re going; would be good to continue the conversation. [Your name]

It’s been a while

Hi Ruth, We met at Legal Geek last year and talked about client onboarding. I saw your firm has just opened in Manchester; congratulations. If onboarding is on the list there, I’d be glad to share what we’ve learned since. [Your name]

Why specific works

A generic “great to meet you” could have been sent to anyone, so it reads like it was. One detail from the conversation shows you were listening, and gives them something easy to reply to. That detail is exactly what a note on a TapInfo interaction is for.
