TapInfo/NFC business cards

NFC business cards that open your profile with one tap.

Hold a TapInfo card near a phone and your details open, ready to save. No app for the other person. Update your details any time and every card you’ve handed out shows the new version.

from £25

What you get

More than a card.

Every TapInfo card opens a persistent identity you control. Change the card, keep the identity.

Works with nearly every modern phone

iPhone XS and later and Android phones with NFC open it straight away. A QR code covers the rest.

Never out of date

Change jobs, numbers or titles once. The card keeps working.

Switch off a lost card

The chip holds a random ID, not your details, so a lost card can be revoked.

Remembers the introduction

Each tap is recorded with when and where, and people can send their details back.

Six finishes

Brushed gold, silver or black metal, black or white Evergreen plastic, or wood.

Standard or custom

The TapInfo mark in the centre, or your own name, logo or artwork.

Common questions

Does the other person need an app?

No. Most modern phones open a TapInfo card straight away: iPhone XS and later read it from the lock screen, and Android phones open it when NFC is on. Anyone else can scan the QR.

What if I lose my card?

Revoke it in a few seconds and order a replacement. Your profile, history and relationships carry on; only the lost card stops working.

What happens when I change jobs or details?

Update your profile once. Every card, tag, QR and link you’ve handed out opens the new version from the next tap.

What’s stored on the chip?

A short tapinfo.io link with a random ID. No name, number or email is written to the card.

Can someone copy my card?To confirm

A copy only carries the same link, and revoking the original kills every copy. Clone-resistant cryptographic chips are on the roadmap.

Do metal cards work as well as plastic?

Yes. Metal blocks radio, so metal cards carry a sealed NFC inlay on the back. Tap with that side towards the phone.

How close does the phone need to be?

Within a few centimetres of the top of the phone on iPhone, or the middle of the back on most Android phones.

An introduction shouldn’t disappear.
